How Moments AI works, step by step
Everything you need to go from a role brief to booked intro calls. Start with the five steps, watch a short how-to, or find your answer in the FAQ.
Getting started
Get started in five steps
- 01
Describe the role
Describe the role in plain words, paste a job description, or drop a link. Moments AI turns it into an opening with must-haves and nice-to-haves you can edit.
- 02
Set hard filters and search
Set location, employment type and right to work, then start the search. It runs up to three rounds until your target number of strong candidates clears the fit bar.
- 03
Read the evidence
Every candidate comes with a fit score, the evidence behind it and honest gaps. Mark candidates as a fit or not a fit to steer the next round.
- 04
Send emails in your voice
Connect Gmail or Outlook and set your tone, signature and templates in Account → Email. Review each draft, then send it from your own address.
- 05
Book intro calls
The scheduling agent offers times from your calendar and books the call in the same email thread. A daily digest tells you who replied, who is booked and what needs you.

Frequently asked questions
Answers to the questions we hear most.
What is Moments AI?
Moments AI is a hiring product for founders, startups and scaleups without an HR or recruiting team, and for solo and boutique recruiters. It turns a role brief into a candidate search, writes personal first emails in your voice, and books intro calls with interested candidates.
Where do candidates come from?
The search runs in up to three rounds. Round one checks Moments' own candidate archive plus professional databases, and round two looks at LinkedIn, GitHub and Stack Overflow for what round one was missing. Round three widens from city to country and adds conference talks, open-source work and blogs.
Does Moments AI send emails without my approval?
No first email goes out until you have reviewed the draft, and chat asks before it sends anything. The scheduling agent, set up in Account → Scheduling, replies to candidates who say they are interested to offer times and book the call. It hands the thread back to you as soon as a reply needs a human.
Which mailboxes and calendars work with Moments AI?
Moments AI works with Gmail and Outlook, for both mail and calendar. Emails are sent from your own address, so replies land in your inbox.
What are credits?
Credits pay for candidate searches and contact details. Every plan includes a monthly amount: 25 on Free, 150 on Starter, 500 on Growth and 1,500 on Agency.
What does the free plan include?
The Free plan costs €0 and includes 1 open position, 25 credits a month and up to 10 candidates per search. No credit card is needed to start.
What happens when a role is filled?
Close the role once you have made your hire. On paid plans, closing a role frees its slot so you can open a new position.
What are hard filters?
Hard filters are the rules a candidate must meet: location (on-site or hybrid commute), employment type and right to work. They run before you spend credits, so candidates who do not meet them are filtered out first.
Does my feedback change the search?
Yes. Mark candidates as a fit or not a fit, or ask for more like this, and that feedback steers the next search round.
Where do I see my emails and WhatsApp messages with candidates?
In the candidate inbox. Every email and WhatsApp message with a candidate sits in one conversation per person, so you see the full history in one place.
Can I publish a careers page?
Yes. You get a branded careers page at your own link, with four templates and your brand colour. Open roles show up on it automatically.
Can recruiters use Moments AI for client roles?
Yes. Moments AI is built for solo and boutique recruiters as well as founders. Each client role is its own open position, and the Agency plan covers 30 open positions with 1,500 credits a month.
